Types of Car Park Barrier Systems
Manual
Manual car park barriers are the most straightforward, affordable option, but many require some form of manual interaction.
- Maximum Height Barriers: These systems don’t require operation of any kind and prevent vehicles above a certain height from entering your site, usually to stop them from becoming stuck further in.
- Swing Barriers: Manual swing barriers need an operator to open and close them. They’re very simple to install, but require some form of staffing.
Automatic
Most car park barrier installers will offer a range of automatic systems, including:
